How to get W2 from Tradesmen International? ›

W2s, W4s, I9s, and other tax records: W2s may be requested as needed through your Employee Connect account. To update records: if you have not yet been hired, you can make changes at tradesmen.jobs. If you have worked, or are working for us, your home office or supervisor can assist you with updating your records.

Otherwise, you'll need to contact your employer or SSA for a copy. The quickest way to obtain a copy of your current year Form W-2 is through your employer. Your employer first submits Form W-2 to SSA; after SSA processes it, they transmit the federal tax information to the IRS.

If your employer or its representatives fails to provide you with a Form W-2, contact the IRS and we can help by providing you with a substitute Form W-2.

W-2s are the standard method for reporting employment income on your US tax return. Usually, an employer will complete this form and send it to every employee. But as an expat living overseas, you will typically only receive a W-2 if you are employed by a company based in the US.

If you earned foreign income abroad, you report it to the U.S. on IRS Form 1040. In addition, you may also have to file a few other international tax forms relating to foreign earnings, like your FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) and FATCA Form 8938.
